This gorgeous dinnerware set features the Holyrood (Holy Cross) pattern. It was produced by Royal Doulton under the Paragon label from 1987-1990. Beginning in 1991, it was produced under the Royal Albert label as part of its 100 years of Royal Albert Collection. This history makes this pattern very valuable with collectors. The white bone china base is made more sophisticated by a subtle fluted pattern of lines. A distinctive maroon band is placed near the rim accented by 22 K gold bands and intricate gold filigree.
