Pair of Japanese Hand-Painted Scallop Shells

Two gorgeous hand-painted scallop shells from Japan. Vintage, in excellent used condition. One shell features a bluebird flying against a pearlescent sky under a floral bough. On the other, a heron perches on a winding limb with intricately detailed conifer needles and berries. A pinpoint-sized indentation, circled in photo, is original to the piece and was painted over by the artist. 3.5 x 3.5" each. Smoke-free. Same or next day shipping from NY.
