These bowls are sturdy stoneware with an elegant minimal painted floral motif. The large bowl would have been used as a mixing bowl. It is 7.5" wide and 3" high The medium size bowl would have been a serving bowl. It is about 6.5" wide and 3.5" high. The smaller of the two has some rough spots around the rim. It just comes with age and normal use. They're stamped in the clay vase with Digoin 9223 & then each piece has its own identifying number as well. They're vintage, they're pretty & they can be yours! For a fraction of what you would pay in the antique store.
