Pair VTG Viking Glass Loop Handle Lacy Sq. Candlesticks Smithsonian Collection

Pair of Vintage Viking Glass Loop Handle Square Candlesticks from Smithsonian Collection. 1990, Discontinued. This candlestick design is a reproduction of a “lacy pressed” candlestick design manufactured between 1835-1845, possibly by Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. The original is in the Smithsonian Institution collections and considered rare as few are known to have been made. Some minor differences like adding the “SI” to base. Smithsonian tags attached for each holder. The are in great condition the edges of base are little sharp in spots and each has I shallow, little chip -which I showed in photos. Not evident until you inspect closely. Doesn’t affect beauty of these collectible candlesticks. So pretty in person. Measures: 5.5”T x 3-5/8” square base Weight of Pair: 2.3 lbs.
