Pair Of Blue Ridge Southern Pottery Sun Bouquet Luncheon Plates

Set of 2 luncheon plates from Blue Ridge Southern Pottery, in the Sun Bouquet pattern - discontinued. Each is in very good condition for the age, with no chips, mends, or hairlines noted. As is characteristic of these pieces, there are firing pin marks on the bottom of each. Additionally, there is a small spot of green paint transfer on one plate - this occured pre-firing, as it is under glaze. Hand painted under glaze; the plate without ink transfer has the older pictorial mark; the other has the newer, script Hallmark. Fluted rim, yellow sponge paint around perimeter, blue, red and yellow flowers. Each is approx 9 3/8" in diameter. All fragile items will arrive professionally packed, in a carton large enough to satisfy carrier requirements when assessing damage claims. Each stage of packaging is digitally recorded.
