The offer charts that are so prevalent on Poshmark are unwelcoming and futile. The buyer should not have to concern themselves with the seller's potential profit. Poshmark is a free market, driven by supply and demand. That means that people can sell Shein/Temu junk at a 90% markup, and it also means that people can offer 10% of your listing price. It's not rude or insulting, and it doesn't in any way detract from the work you put into your closet. Don't attach any emotional significance to lowball offers. Decline, counter, block, or ignore. It's that simple.

Very well-said! Nobody is forcing anybody to do anything with regard to offers. I think those charts are so tacky. And when it comes down to it, we can’t know why people offer what they do. Ultimately, it’s always up to us whether or not something is worth it, and I for one like to have the choice. 😊

Just adding to this: NEVER negotiate in the comment section. If someone is serious, they can make an offer.

@ljack8890 When I see that offer chart in someone's closet, I move on.
