This listing is not for purchase. I’m sharing it because I’ve had multiple items removed by Poshmark for being “against policy,” while thousands of other closets continue to sell prohibited items such as perfume, hand sanitizer, and fragrance mists without consequence.
I have reported these violations many times, but the listings remain active. Meanwhile, sellers like myself — who follow the rules, maintain 5-star ratings, and participate in the Poshmark community — are penalized and lose income.
If you’ve had similar experiences, please comment below. Poshmark needs to hear from ALL of us. Their policies should apply equally to everyone, not just some sellers.
Let’s stand together and call for fair enforcement. Please do not be afraid to put your closet name, there is power in numbers and it’s high time Poshmark hears us!! I’ve contacted them several times and each time they tell me the same thing “do not list any perfume but please continue to report any perfume listings” WHAT A JOKE, I have reported hundreds of perfume listings (and I’m keeping track of the dates, closets etc) I’ve reported. Enough is enough!
**if you are a seller who is actively selling perfume/hand sanitizer/bath & body fragrance mists, please know I’m happy for you but I’d also like to sell perfume as this is a huge market.

I feel the same way about people mistagging brands on their listings. I know of a closet that constantly lists jewelry from allie express as killstar. I've reported it over and over again, but yet they allow her to keep doing it.
It's very annoying, and it's unfair.

@moongoddess7 I don’t get it.. I’ve sent about 6 emails, I’m sure they’re so sick of me but I don’t care, why are people allowed to sell perfume- PERIOD!! I go and list it, and they immediately take it down.. sounds like discrimination to me

@moongoddess7 that’s just not right.. misrepresenting jewelry that way, I’d be mad too

@loridgiam i completely agree with you. I've sent so many messages about so many things even being on here for 9 years. I still feel like only the closets that have very high-end Items.
Or that are making them a lot of money, they're the only ones that they care about.

@moongoddess7 Sooooo true but if they’d allow us to sell items that are on the “prohibited list” 🙄 we’d be making them money too. I have one or two closets I’m keeping my eye on because they are almost exclusively PERFUME ITEMS.. well I went and added up their sales and it’s a boatload of money!!! 💰 They’re raking it in - my next move will be to take this to an attorney, I’m done playing

@loridgiam i think it's stupid for them to prohibit us from selling those. There's no problem on other platforms to sell perfume. Posh is the only one and other platforms use USPS as well. So it's ridiculously stupid.
