The pic of us together was our Christmas card (another thing I'm always trying to get all creative with, the actual card is stunning in person the way I had them printed). chanfrancisco @ahabit sunshine reference me yes, and did you catch my "SHADINESS" reference about you know who? Hehe. I LOVE photography. It's one of the things I had to give up having baby Hayes. When it was just Hadley I finally got time to do the things I loved so much. You would never see me without my camera gear. And I'm TOTALLY a pull over the side of the road take a pic gal. My husband gets annoyed cuz I'll be like "stop the car!" But get some of my best shots that way. Do you have a Flickr account? cmjla Ok I finally stopped laughing long enough to measure and there's good news and bad news... The jeans seem to be more of a 25 than 24 and stretchier than I'd thought for sure. The bad news might be that the leg is only about a 28... Supposed to be ankle length but they may be shorter than you'd want. God they are fabulous. But I know I'm not getting into them. The smallest I'll get is 26. But I tried on some 28s yesterday and was over the moon when they were too big!!! 🎉🎉🎉👍

That does not look like good photography, its from my iphone!" 😜 Are you on Flikr? I'd love to see some of your work and get some constructive criticism on mine. 😬 The croquet picture was one of those disasters that turns out being really awesome. It was for our Christmas card, and it looks so much better to see the whole thing together. I may just post it and tag you because it's one I'm really proud of, and did EVERYTHING myself. I had guy friends that we send to asking me if we were modeling for someone! People you'd never expect to respond so much. It was a nice feeling, especially when you do something and think its really cool and no one else really cares? And you're SO excited for their response? Well I finally got that, made my year! 😘💕

golyndsey I'd LOVE to view your work, anytime! I am not on Flickr... YET! I have been one of the last hold outs on analogue photography. I still try to utilize film, paper and a darkroom for all my artistic shots. Though, I will be the FIRST to praise digital photography! It costs countless hours and dollars trying to master that which a computer does instantly. The filters now are BRILLIANT! Though, I feel so much greater satisfaction knowing that I manipulated light to create the perfect image hung on my walls. It's an art thing... I will try to catalogue some and create a listing!!! chanfrancisco @golyndsey See and I always wanted to learn the good old fashioned way. 😉Bought all the stuff I needed on EBay, years ago, and never got around to it. Computers programs with filters and such are great! But I can still spend hours on a picture because I want it to be just right. Sometimes it seems harder because there are so many options to use, it's overwhelming. Many times I've worked hours on the computer and ended up liking just the original with no touch ups! I'll see if I can send you just a link to my Flikr page to look. It's a great place to be on because there's all levels of photographers, and if you allow it people can like your pics, make comments. Very insightful. And there's tons of smaller groups you can join, like black and white, or abstract. Then you just share and see other pics in that category. Everyone is so nice too. I don't get on there much, in like 2 years, since I got pregnant with number two. Would love to see your work anytime. You can always email me if that's easier cmhowald616@gmail.com. singaporejones Awesome closet -- clothes, layout, all of it! 8-) I am feeling the eye candiness.... & so, in my sugary state, I must ask how you do your collages and effects, if it's not a matter of using an art program to trim images to outline and then arrange, add effects and text, and then make a jpeg or ping? I love doing it the "linux" way, all the levels, all the tweaks... but you know better than I how much time that having that much fun can eat. ;) Do you use apps at all? Or mix between apps and personal shots? All I know is that what you're doing really works! :) Thanks in advance for any and all advice.

singaporejones Aaaand I just realized you beat me to what I thought was *my* idea but was clearly *your* idea first! ;) -- featuring items from different closets in a "get the look" listing, with the closets listed by the item from it. I've been talking to certain sellers about doing something similar. Have you had good luck with that approach? Run into any issues? Again, anything you'd be willing to offer as advice would be awesome. I'd be doing the layouts -- I have that sort of background -- but as a Posh newbie, I. Need. Serious. Help! I just always asked before using anything from a person's closet (the first time) but no one said no. I just made sure to give them owner recognition. chanfrancisco @singaporejones ok reading your feed top to bottom makes things really frustrating. Lol. I just used photoshop to erase the backgrounds and make them into a collage. Then I used apps to add wording and such. Let me know if you need the names of some. There's tons out there! But yes it can be time consuming. That's why I haven't done them much since I and baby number 2. Hardly even get on posh much either. Kinda miss it, kinda don't, mostly miss talking to all the great gals on here everyday!

singaporejones Thanks very much for the feedback! (Yes, Posh feed needs help. I'm not even selling yet, & mine already feels like a morass. It's just not customizable enough.) I use GIMP (no, not making that up), which is an open-source Photoshop, more or less. I'll be looking for more apps once I get an Android phone (Windows right now - Nokias are great phones, but Win has no apps). And yeah, 2 kiddos - enough to keep anyone busy! ;) I'm not a parent, so you may just roll your eyes at this suggestion, but maybe you could do 15 min a few times a week just chatting? Not w/ me, i mean :P - w/ the folks you miss talking with on here. Most of my friends are parents, & I know that "adult time" is precious & sanity-saving, but challenging to carve out.
