also could you include the measurement from pit to pit? and is there any way to see it modeled on a person or mannequin? if not maybe placing a white shirt underneath inside so I can see what is solid and what is lace through? thank you

Hello! I've added photos of the bodice with a white top to show the lace detail on the front and back. By steel gray, I am referring to the lace color- it's not a true black (it is not due to fading or being washed out). The last two photos show this. The measurement from pit to pit is approx 17 inches. Thanks.
