Offering someone half or more off their listing price is very disrespectful. Please be considerate & reasonable when using the Offer Button. Items are reasonably priced and if you bundle two or more items I will offer you a discount. Please remember, PoshMark takes $2.95 or 20% of the final sales price depending on what that is. This is NOT a flea market so do not expect to pay those kind of prices. Thank you. HAPPY POSHING!😃

May 22Reply

deanna_m0219@lismiley1 that is a good idea

May 23Reply

Jun 08Reply

lismiley1@southerndonna it’s crazy some of the offers! I had someone recently make an offer that was 80% off!!

Jun 27Reply

Jun 30Reply

6lindaI love this! Cannot tell you how many times this would have come in handy. 🌸

Jun 30Reply

lismiley1@6linda I know! But believe it or not, I still get low ball offers! I try to keep this at the top of my closet at all times. You are free to screen shot it & use it. I actually got it from another Posher!!

Jun 30Reply

kelley2929@lismiley1 Hey there! Do you mind if I copy this? Beyond tired of all the low ballers on here! If you want garage sale prices, go to a garage sale!

Jul 03Reply

lismiley1@kelley2929 absolutely! I got this from another Posher who was gracious enough to let me copy it. Hope it helps. You will still get that occasional low baller though!

Jul 03Reply

lismiley1@adacloset06 just screen shot each slide and add to your closet as a “sell” item

Jul 04Reply

Jul 08Reply

mariosmommyHi I love this please please please can I use this? Lol...I drop prices and shipping they low ball me and ask for free shipping and I'll only make $7 off of a $25 new never worn shoe...not desperate, lol

Jul 09Reply

lismiley1@mariosmommy ABSOLUTELY!! I got this from another Posher who shared it with me. You will still get low ballers but you don’t need to give in to their demands. Stick to your prices, go as low as YOU want. The right buyer will come along!

Jul 09Reply

mariosmommy@lismiley1 thank you sooo much I hope they read this too,lol and thanks for sharing

Jul 09Reply

karielryleeBaha! “this is not a flea market”... I love it! 🤣

Jul 15Reply

lismiley1@sweeda33 thank you! I got it from another Posher. Still get low ballers!!

Oct 03Reply

starwinklesGreat guide! Hope you don’t mind if I put this in my closet. “This is not a flea market.” 😂

Oct 03Reply

lismiley1@reet_petite not at all. I got this from another Posher. Sometimes it works & sometimes it don’t!

Oct 03Reply

torsburnhi there! I see you already gave permission to others, but just double checking if I can borrow this?? getting beyond frustrated with some of the "offers" I've been getting... 😐🤐😬

Nov 17Reply

lismiley1@torsburn absolutely!! You are more than welcome to use this.

Nov 17Reply

mrscox98I had to do the same with mine too! I can’t believe how some ppl are just so rude and it’s so insulting! Since I have put up mine I only get a couple now!

Mar 29Reply

lismiley1@mrscox98 I still get some from time to time. When that happens I make sure that this posting gets back to the top of my closet. Lol!

Mar 29Reply

mrscox98@lismiley1 yup agreed! I dropped all my prices and this one person didn’t buy with in the 6hr reduced shipping so she wanted me to still do it and I would of made under $3 and she wouldn’t budge because of the full price shipping and I told her how posh takes x amount, I don’t think ppl understand how it works. That’s what gets frustrating. So that’s when I put the no low ball listing back up at the top of my closet.

Mar 29Reply

lismiley1@susanjodonnelly thanks! It helped cut back low ballers but I still get ridiculous offers from time to time!

Apr 07Reply

dbmontgomeryLive this!! Can I use this?? If so do you know how to copy it?!??

May 14Reply

lismiley1@dbmontgomery absolutely! I got it from another posher myself. Just screen shot the slides.

May 30Reply

jfrost75omg no joke!!!!!! happens all the time ugh

Jun 06Reply

lismiley1@jfrost75 tell me about it! Even with this sign I still get low ball offers.

Jun 06Reply

jfrost75@lismiley1 ridiculous!!!! I have low prices I feel like way less than I paid for it.

Jun 06Reply

jfrost75@watermelon78 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Jun 06Reply

lismiley1@jfrost75 I have low prices too and I’m not knocking anyone who does but on my higher end listings it’s insulting when someone offers you 75% less than your sell price.

Jun 07Reply

jfrost75@lismiley1 Amen!!!!!!

Jun 07Reply

reesbrown56I dislike those OFFERS also but you're missing out on a Sale by perceiving Lowballers as disrespectful. Use that OFFER as a Start point and SEND a COUNTER OFFER! You'd be surprised how many new Customers you can make 💫With all due respect, meant only as a tip🐬

Jul 18Reply

lismiley1@reesbrown56 I appreciate that. And I agree. At times I will send a counter offer but other times I won’t especially if my selling price is $8 & I get offered $3. I feel that is extremely rude. I’m not going to accept a nickel commission just to make a sale.

Jul 18Reply

reesbrown56@lismiley1 I had a New Seller offer $5 for a $18 item. I wrote him in a BUNDLE why we don't do lowball and he messaged me apologizing and he purchased the item at $14. Many Sales like that😎 Not everyone understands the process. If they are actually verbally rude I will Block🤬 Wishing you big Sales!

Jul 18Reply

reesbrown56@lismiley1 hahahaha I don't price lower than $10 unless it is BUNDLED for that reason. Learned That lesson the hard way😥

Jul 18Reply

lismiley1@reesbrown56 thanks for the advice. I’ll need to do that in the future! And perhaps readjust my pricing!

Jul 18Reply

mardimarcheThanks for this, I will be borrowing this graph to use for sure!

Jul 26Reply

lismiley1@mardimarche use whatever pics you want! I got this from another posher myself.

Jul 26Reply

Aug 01Reply

vallynn2020Perfect so true. love it❤❤❤❤

Aug 06Reply

angel_bishop79I love this!! Can I use your idea please? As in taking screenshots of my low ball offers? Thank you

Oct 08Reply

lismiley1@angel_bishop79 absolutely! I started getting so frustrated with the low ballers I decided to include them now in this listing. Feel free to do the same.

Oct 08Reply

catsmeowshoppeGoing thru that right now. 🤦 People really don't understand the fees involved or that we put a lot of work into this. Since I do this to help cat rescue it's not really my thing to give brand new items away. I counter but sometimes it gets crazy with the back and forth.

Dec 03Reply

jenniferbeck210This! I have blocked people that have offered such rude amounts. Thank you for posting this!

Jan 08Reply

lismiley1@jenniferbeck210 thank you! As frustrating as it is to get these offers, I just love adding them to this posting!!

Jan 08Reply

mattguts1Amen. I have a few repeat offenders. They never buy anything. Thanks for sharing.

Mar 09Reply

crystallatshaw@lismiley1 well my Gosh 😮 That hasn’t happened to me yet, thank goodness cause that’s almost enough to make a person lose their southern hospitality 🤭!! I thought that there was some kinda rule against that? You should report those jerks! 👮🏻‍♀️..... Really

Mar 15Reply

lismiley1@crystallatshaw just wait. It will happen to you. you’ll gasp when you see that first low ball offer & you’ll say to yourself “what on earth is she/he thinking?”. Then you’ll love that southern hospitality! I wish it were against the rules but it’s not. Guess that’s why they gave us the decline/ block buttons!

Mar 15Reply

ladyarachnid@lismiley1 Yessssss. Check out my lowball listing, it says if you offer me 50% off the asking price I'll send my flying monkeys for you. 🤣

Apr 02Reply

lismiley1@ladyarachnid I just looked it up! Love it!

Apr 02Reply

katt_sweeter@lismiley1 This is fantastic! 🙌🏼

Aug 22Reply

lismiley1@katt_sweeter thank you! You are more than welcome to use it!

Aug 22Reply

carolineb687Couldn’t agree more. Can I use this? I’ll credit you if you want. So true!

Aug 23Reply

lismiley1@carolineb687 absolutely!! No need to credit me. I got this from another posher.

Aug 23Reply

theplush_closet😭😭😭😭 I feel this but I don’t mind countering. But I can say that 100% of the time my counteroffers are not accepted 😅

Aug 30Reply

lismiley1@obsidianxbelle mine either that’s why I stopped giving them and just decline.

Aug 30Reply

seahorsesnpalmsAMEN!!!!! 💯

Sep 26Reply

peachesnpookieLove this I don’t know how people can be so disrespectful. I had someone offer $12 on an $80 item I didn’t even counter offer because it was just so rude!!! People need to understand that we put our time hard work effort and money into doing this for extra income!!! I do believe from now on when this happens I’m going to screenshot mine also just to let people know when they enter my closet to please be respectful!!! Have a blessed day and happy poshing

Nov 13Reply

lismiley1@peachesnpookie it’s aggravating to get lowballed. I don’t ever counter. Just decline and add them to my “wall of shame”.

Nov 13Reply

peachesnpookie@lismiley1 lol wall of shame love that!!! Well one person that sent a $7 offer on a 3 piece skin111 bundle that was $110 which honestly is already a great deal haha 😂 I went to there closet found a listing that was $50 and sent a $3 offer I thought by doing this they would maybe stop because they see how it felt GIRL THEY ACCEPTED THE OFFER HAHA I was like no way

Nov 13Reply

lismiley1@peachesnpookie 🤣🤣I never thought of that! I’m gonna try that with next one.

Nov 13Reply

peachesnpookie@lismiley1 please do and let me know how it goes 😂

Nov 13Reply

tigger75I have this same normal to rude pricing chart in my closet as well! It doesn't stop some ppl, unfortunately.

Mar 18Reply

glamthreadsIt happens to all of us. I read a Reddit thread asking customers why they do this. So many said the same thing: most sellers get mad but occasionally a seller will accept, so as long as some sellers keep accepting low ball offers, they'll keep trying with everyone. 😶

Oct 27Reply

lismiley1@glamthreads yeah probably so. It’s just very aggravating when someone low balls you and then you look at their closet and they’re selling high dollar items!

Oct 27Reply

glamthreads@lismiley1 Oof! For sure.

Feb 24Reply

jensto65Oh goodness gracious alive!! I apologized for the several contact notifications…I was reading your page and loving all the comments from your GREAT posting about lowballers!! Love the wall of shame!😂😂 Anyway my finger must of kept hitting the message thingy. I apologize ,..I wondered why it kept going to message you or someone!!😳🤪.Hi! I’m Jen by the way and your post is awesome!! I get the same problem too and it’s very frustrating.. I want to put up a “wall of shame” now..😂🤣Thats the best!😂😂

Feb 24Reply

lismiley1@jensto65 it’s frustrating! That’s why I started the wall of shame. You are more than welcome to use any or all of the slides then add your own lowballers!

Feb 24Reply

jensto65@lismiley1 Awe ..thanks so much!💕

Feb 24Reply

etta_jamesonThis is the best anti-low ball post I’ve seen here! Love the shaming without naming and “this is not a flea market” will now be added to my own post about reasonable offers. This made me laugh so thank you for brightening my morning of poshing 😂

Feb 25Reply

lismiley1@etta_jameson you are welcome. I got the pictures from another posher years ago and added my “wall of shame”. You may use any part of it you wish.

Feb 25Reply

jaimeeharvey😆 🤣 😂 😹 🩷🩷

Feb 26Reply

jacousWhat is considered a low ball offer? Is 23%? Someone just blocked me from their closet for offering $30 on a dress they had listed at $39. I didn’t think that was an unreasonable offer. 🤷‍♀️

Mar 05Reply

lismiley1@jacous no, I don’t find that unreasonable. Low ball to me is offering more than 50% off the asking price.

Mar 05Reply

cpcolalellaI love 💕 this!! Why are people so rude?? How about I simply send it for free?!?!

Mar 13Reply

jackieohnoIt is getting out of control lately! Some people apparently have no idea what is “reasonable”.

Apr 09Reply

lismiley1@jackieohno you are so right! I think those low start auctions are hurting it for everyone!

Apr 09Reply

jackieohno@lismiley1 They are!

Apr 09Reply

lizzydarkI know its frustrating as a seller, but it's worth a shot as a buyer. I was always told.ot never hurts to ask. don't take things so personally. also, people have to shop within their budgets, so asking for a price that suits them is exactly why there is an Offer feature! no malice, I totally get it. just try not to let it ruin your day! 🖤🫂

Aug 17Reply

lismiley1@lizzydark I don’t. but buyers need to be more considerate. I would never dream of asking a seller to give me more than 30% off on an item unless they are specifically having a huge sale.

Aug 17Reply

themagicwand@crystallatshaw It hasn’t happened to you? Have you been here very long? Bless you. It’s happened my first day all the way thru the 4th year. So much is Posh’s fault, no matter how much information we give buyers in a listing they just don’t read it, 1/2 the time they don’t understand it, at least the ones I’ve talked to. This is a great idea, but if they don’t read all the listing they’re trying to buy, I wonder if this would get through. That being said, may I borrow too.

Feb 26Reply

lismiley1@themagicwand you are more than welcome to borrow this!
