PLEASANT COMPANY AMERICAN GIRL Samantha’s Vintage middy sailor dress & tam

Darling sailor dress and matching tam from Pleasant Company American Girl Samantha Parkington’s story “Samantha Saves the Day” (book not included) The date on the tag is slightly washed out (see pic) but it says 1989. The little bootie has 4 side pearl buttons that really work (only one boot included). Details of the dress are pleated skirt, elastic waist, sailor collar with stars and matching navy trim on cuffs of long sleeves and collar. An anchor decorates the front of the dress and a crest decorates the right sleeve. All trim is navy blue on the white dress. Closures are Velcro. Eyelet openings on the back are for a lacing that is not included. Original hat is a round white tam with navy gros grain trim.
