This is a beautiful embossed large, 11", plate. It seems like a decorative plate because it has 3D embossed floral around the edges that runs into the middle. Hiding in the flora is a little lizard and a frog. The plate is a pretty soft green color. The pictures show it a little more like a forest green, however, it is a soft light green. Very pretty. It has a sticker on the back that says "Porta". There are no other plates I could find that are identical to this plate, but I believe this is made in Portugal. It could be used as a serving platter, but the design has a 3D embossed effect. There is one rough edge on the design. I do not believe it is a chip, but rather something that was done in the manufacturing. You only notice it by running your fingers over the design. SEE LAST PICTURE.
