bargaintwins @janfast LOL! Come on over! I’m sure we’ll have squash! We have zucchini, yellow, pattypan, spaghetti and butternut in the works! Not to mention the okra and eggplant, etc 🙂 I need squash recipes!

beachbum_pm @bargaintwins that looks amazing !! We used to have soup at the hospital years ago that was a “harvest pumpkin & squash” that was sooo good ! When they outsourced the kitchen staff, they no longer made it …wished I had the recipe before the cook left !! 🤦‍♀️

bargaintwins @beachbum_pm This was SO EASY! I roasted the squash with onions & garlic, EVOO, S&P. Then whizzed it up with coconut milk & a little veggie broth & curry powder. I didn’t measure anything 😂 Then I put the spicy seeds on top! I usually put cilantro, but didn’t have any 💕

bargaintwins @janfast I figured that out 😉 That little squash is a butternut. Even with the heat indices over 100, we have been very fortunate with our plants. The yellow tomatoes were from someone’s castoff plants 🙂

bargaintwins @sgoode001 💕 Thank you so much! It’s hard work! We were used to an apartment in Birmingham…it was an 1800SF historic place on the golf course. Skye has a huge fenced yard here 🐾 She is such an athletic dog! We are taking her for swimming & dock diving lessons 🙂

shopper919 Love the gorgeous photos! I’ve been to Alabama and it’s beautiful there. The mountains where I used to live look like hills compared to Alabama. No wonder I loved the way my dad smelled after digging in yard to plant trees. Never knew it was the soil. Wish that scent could be bottled. 🍆🥒🥕

luce_del_sole @bargaintwins Cost of Living is amazing compared to so much of the country. I’m in Hsv. Was in S TN for a minute. Loved it but sales tax was ridiculous. 9.5% compared to 5.5% where I am now. Yep, the humidity could calm down a little bit. Being a CA transplant (50 yrs ago), as I still despise the humidity!
