The incomparable New York City skyline, by famous painter Edgar Starek (1917-1987) who is so well known for his slightly surreal cityscapes Bold and moody, just like Manhattan itself, the city is done in acrylic on paper, mounted on masonite Piece measures 28.25 long x 22.75 high Signed and numbered as shown Purchased by me in the early 90s Does show some marks and edge bumps from original owner (price reflects this) but I had it professionally framed and it displayed beautifully. In my care, it has been under archival, museum-quality UV protective glass so the colors are still bright. Stareck is still well represented in NYC galleries and was a member of the venerable Art Students League in the late 40s.
