It was recorded at Electric Lady Studios in New York, where his album 'Frampton's Camel' was recorded four years earlier. Guest vocalists and musicians on 'I'm in You' include Stevie Wonder, Mick Jagger, Richie Hayward and Mike Finnigan. The album was a huge success, reaching #2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, largely due to its title track. That single rose to #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The other single, 'Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I'm Yours)' featuring Mick Jagger on backing vocals, peaked at #18.
