Antique Ovington Bros Co Austria Cup Saucer Demitasse Intricate Gold Encrusted. 2 cups and 2 saucers. The plates have a gold mark on the back with the words Ovington Bros Co and Austria. The cups only have Austria with 3106. The plates have a gold trim hexagon shape in which the cup sits perfectly. The cups base is also a hexagon shape. Good condition with some of the gold be rubbed off, but not much. The rim of one of the cups appears to have some purple areas as shown in the pics. Approximate Measurements • plates 6” across • cup across 2 1/2”, height 2” I believe these are pre 1920. The Ovington Brothers of Brooklyn founded their china importing company in 1846. "Brothers" was eliminated from their name at some point after 1920. Ships from a non-smoking home. Happy to answer questions.
