Oval Sandwich Serving Bowl

This oval serving bowl is quite a unique one. Made by “Anchor Hocking” in the “Sandwich Clear” pattern from the 40s-60s. This bowl is in amazing condition with no chips, cracks or scratch marks from metal spoons. It has an oddity to it, either the mold was defective or this bowl has a rest for the serving spoon. On the rim there is a segment that seems snipped out of it, its smooth and is made this way. This mark is quite useful as a spoon rest if it was meant to be one, or not. Shown in the last two pictures. A one of kind for sure. Measuring 8 1/2in. in length.
