Outrageous Handmade Vintage Apple Green Seersucker dress

I really love the uniqueness of these old vintage handmade dresses. This one is just outstanding! I can’t be exactly sure when it was made.. Judging from the green enamel zippers at the cuff I’ll guess it’s 1960’s.. It reminds me of an Edwardian dress, I wonder if it was made from an old pattern.. The fabric is an apple green, a Granny Smith apple green.. And it’s seersucker! The print has darling orange daisies and checkered lattice of twisted rope.. The tailoring is really fantastic.. The bodice and bust fit me really well, but was a bit big on my mannequin.. Great fit on a larger bust size. Waist ties to really cinch the silhouette to your liking.. The sleeves are so unusual.. Long and slim with a zipper cuff.. The shoulder and upper sleeve are topped with double layer bells.. Now I’m sure there’s a name for this kind of sleeve.. If you know it I’d love to be schooled.. The neckline is square cut and accented with ivory eyelet lace threaded with orange grosgrain ribbon.. Full maxi length skirt with a wonderful sweep.. Unlined. Zips up the back with a metal zipper.. Made by a great seamstress, it’s sewn very well . Excellent condition…back zipper was replaced vintage size medium bust 42” waist up to 34” (can be cinched tigher) top of shoulder to waist 16” length 61” sleeve length 26” shoulder seam to shoulder seam across back 15 1/2” sweep 115”
