From a smoke free home Here is a beautiful Otagiri Japan Golden Mist jewelry box. It is lacquer ware in a cream color with gold accents. It still has it’s foil label attached on it’s back. There are three drawers and a mirror on the top. This box measures 5 inches in height. OMC refers to the Otagiri Mercantile Company, Inc. from San Francisco, California. They operated from the mid 1950’s until 1994. They were a manufacturing company that imported items to sell at department and gift stores.
