It is a contemporary-style decorative plate. It's made using a technique where 3D gold foil leaves are sandwiched between two layers of glass. This creates a shimmering effect with a cluster of "islands" where the glass didn't fully fuse around the leaves. The plate has a glossy finish and is handmade. It measures approximately 10-1/4" square with a maximum height of 1-3/4" at the corners and a flat base of about 6" in diameter.
