It is a watercolor painting of a Monarch butterfly on a Lavender Flower in a Monarch Waystation Garden in Kentucky. I have shown you the original painting unframed (before I had it framed) and the painting framed and inside a clear plastic bag (with some glare from the flash of the camera). I've also added some closeups, through the glass. I painted it on Acid-free, cold pressed, professional watercolor paper. I used professional grade watercolor paint.
