This is an original mixed media collage, that I created over the summer of 2025. The Greek goddess figure is strong and resolute against the blazing fires and chaos in the distance. The Pythia was the name given to the Oracle at Delphi, in Ancient Greece. This was not just one woman, but many, living and dying in succession in the office of high priestess. She was born and raised in the temple of Apollo, and spent her life within its walls, never leaving.
