This little beauty comes from my own collection and the stone is stunning. This is a water or jelly opal. This is set into 14K yellow gold. The gold flows around the opal with a unique organic look to it. This type of opal is know for its unique visual as to how the light interacts with its structure. It has a transparent look with internal flashes of color. This is hard to capture in the photos but it is mesmerizing as it turns in the light. Please see below for more information on water opals.
