Unusual & exceptional Lock Ness - NESSIE - from the Mythical Mommies canvas print series by Oopsy Daisy was purchased at The Land of Nod in 2012. Canvas Print measures 18" Tall x 14" Wide x 1.5" deep. The NESSIE Mommy is shown with her baby on her back against a very pale blue "ocean" background. The print is a whimsical modern version of illustrated natural history / wildlife prints found in antique books of the late 1800s thru the early 20th century. This is "Plate 141b", which shows the grouping & subgrouping of the Lock Ness Monster, the geography of its habitat, Scotland & Lock Ness, etc. The print also as a grouping that shows the shapes of the purported sightings of Nessie. Background images are meant to illustrate different rooms/ settings - they are simulations & do not necessarily show the print to the correct scale. Print is clean & in VG condition.
