This is signed/personalized by Horace W Porter From 1869 to 1872, Porter served as President Grant's personal secretary in the White House His aunt, Elizabeth Porter, was the grandmother of Mary Todd Lincoln. I have no provenance for this but the signature is a majority match to others in existence and the time/location is right. The signature is 100% authentic. In excellent Victorian condition with much less than typical wear/staining on cover. Pages are nice and clean.
