What is the waist measurement? These jeans remind me of ones I used to wear in the 1980’s.

@retrorandy sorry, I didn’t answer you sooner. I didn’t get the notification. These pants have a zipper and button closure. They have a lot of stretch due to the elastic in the back. The waist measurement is 32” to 38”. They are a light weight stone washed denim.

@vickijoyner I’m not sure if they would fit me. I’m a 2X and being that these are baggy, I thought they might fit. I remember as a teenager in High School wanting my mom to buy me a pair of Guess jeans and they were around $60 and back then, a pair of Levi’s were about $20 so she refused because she thought that was too expensive! A year or so later, she bought my brother a pair of $100 Gargoyle sunglasses! I was so mad! lol

@dzoobaby totally understand! You want to be sure they fit before you make the investment. Too bad I didn’t listen to my own advice, lol! I am hippy so I thought these would work for me but they were just big every where on me. I wear a size 14. So I would say these would fit a size 16 and maybe 18. Depending on your waist size.
I can relate to you about the cost of jeans in the past. I would never pay over $40 and now it is the norm….I also understand the thing about brothers…grrrr.

@vickijoyner they are cute as can be. They kind of remind me of harem pants, which are super cute if one is thinner and small waisted because they kind of accentuate the waist. I kind of fall between an 18 and a 20. I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been in my life, including back when I was 9 months pregnant. I keep trying to talk myself into cutting out most carbs-even if just for a couple weeks. I really don’t eat that much but my metabolism is so slow that everything I eat gets stored as fat.

@dzoobaby I understand the whole weight thing. I recently lost about 40 +pounds but it has taken me a year to do that. I followed the weight watchers point plan and that has been the best one for me so far. The most important thing to remember for me is not to be so hard on myself and that this is a journey not a quick fix. I still have some more pounds to lose but I am feeling better now. So be good to yourself ! Just talking from experience, lol! You are definitely not alone!
