His golden staff, sunburst accents, and expressive hand-painted face give him an authentic European Father Christmas look perfect for a mantel, table display, or holiday centerpiece. His interior is built with a sturdy conical plastic form. He can be used as a standing table figurine OR as a Christmas tree topper. His lantern lights up and works properly. There are three areas of cracking on his face (shown in photos). Because his beard is full and natural in texture, a restorer could take a small amount of under-beard fibers and gently glue them to his forehead or lower face to conceal the cracks if desired.
