Old Vintage Carved Wooden Boot Ashtray w/Brass Insert

Very old item, found one quite similar from 1933. Small shoe/boot, carved from lightweight wood (not sure what kind). Hollowed out and fitted with a brass ‘bowl’ used for an ashtray. It should have a tab attached that would be used to set the cigarette on, but it has broken off. This is a very cool old item. Great for anyone collecting smoking paraphernalia; or just to have a nearly antique wooden boot for decor. Photos show condition and size. This looks good for its age, nothing terrible, just a few scrapes and gouges. Amazing unique piece.
