Old Standard Oil Tank Drum Cap #108 Iron Screw On Off Vintage

Old cap, maybe for a residential oil tank or large oil drum? On one side it has the number 108, a hole to hang a tag and an indented square likely for a tightening/loosening tool. The bottom side has a hanging hole that a weight might be hung to check for levels in a tank. Very heavy and unsure what it actually might have been used for. Very similar to a Standard Oil drum cap on a 55 gallon drum I found when doing research.
