“Old Ironsides,” Framed Print by Gordon Grant Painting of the USS Constitution

This print of the USS Constitution, nicknamed “Old Ironsides,” depicts the boat in the ocean at full sale. This was a commissioned art piece painted by American Marine artist, Gordon Grant to raise funds for restoration of the boat. He used an oil medium, and in 1926 the military made thousands of prints to sell to raise money for the restoration of the boat. The boat currently resides in Boston, MA. There is some wear on the frame, and the back had to be taped, but considering how old this is, it is in great condition! Measurements shown in photos.
