Old German Kugel Large Cobalt Blue Blown Glass Ball Christmas Ornament ~ OG Cap

This gorgeous German-made, antique, blown Glass Kugel Christmas Tree Ornament has an un-embossed, original Beehive Cap With Hanging Loop. Approximate measurement of circumference is 12" and height is 4.25". Incredible & unbelievably vibrant Cobalt blue color with the high gloss these are known for. Weight is 111 g / 3.9 oz! These have been popular in Europe for many years and are also known as European art glass balls. They signify friendship and can be hung from a Christmas tree, displayed in a simple crystal decorative bowl, or even hung from the ceiling or window pane.
