paperstarz @resalegold aww Love that name. I wanted a little girl but Mello stole my heart when I met him. I didn’t want to love him and waited a week before I gave in and got him. It was meant to be. He’s a very special dog. He started having seizures about a year & half ago. He’s on 4 meds daily, every 8 hrs so I’m glad I got him. He needed someone to take really good care of him. 😊

paperstarz @ho11ister congratulations!! How exciting!! Bulldogs are among the sweetest & funniest dogs ever. 😊 they can be very stubborn and opinionated as well. Lol you’re in for a treat. Just make sure you clean folds and the tail pocket.

paperstarz @ho11ister he is on only natural pet easy raw chicken formula. I love this because it only has 8 ingredients and is completely natural. No fillers and really easy to prepare. He gets limited ingredients. I also cook for him his favorite food in the world several times a week: chicken breasts. 😊 I make dinner for me and throw in an extra piece for him.

paperstarz @ho11ister I just use an unscented babywipe and wash it out with clean water before it even touches him because I’m always afraid of him having a reaction. He’s really sensitive to perfumes, so it all has to be hypoallergenic. I got lucky with him. His tailpocket isn’t really bad. He has a little screw type piggy tail but he poops without it ever getting on him. I know some bulldogs do have that problem so you have to watch yours. 🙂

paperstarz @ho11ister I clean it with a wipe. Then a dry soft tissue and make sure it’s pretty dry. Then finally I puff some golds bond powder in there to keep it dry. 😊 it’s a bit of work but he’s my sweetheart. I love him to pieces. I need to take him to his neurologist next month. ❤️

sailormoon11 How is Mello? My sweet Sis passed this past November. But a month after, my aunt called me about her friends dad who died and they were desperate to find a home for a male bulldog. God works in mysterious ways.

paperstarz @sailormoon11 Mello is doing well. We have increased his beds and added a new one in hope they help control his seizures a bit better. We still give him the best life possible and spoil him rotten and he is loving life. He is such a special dog. I love him so much. How about you? What is your dogs name now? Are you bonding?

paperstarz @sailormoon11 dogs have such a special place in my heart and imo they are the only ones who can heal a broken heart from losing a prior dog. I know that was my case with Mello. He mended my broken heart and I wouldn’t trade him for the world.

paperstarz @suzyblueyes my poor bubba has epilepsy so he takes 17 pills a day so our days are pretty Mello but he still prances when he sees me. I love him to pieces. He’s the best.

suzyblueyes @paperstarz I’m sorry I had epilepsy so I can relate human to dog 🐶 but ours is just as lazy and has to sleep in bed next or close to me or Bella at all times. He actually had a seizure 2 times and I was so worried 😟 but he was ok.

paperstarz @suzyblueyes aww. I’m glad he’s okay. My Mello clusters so he has to take a lot of meds to stop them. He had to get a spinal tap and mri because he couldn’t stop having them. He goes on for hours. It’s horrible. Average is 14 hrs and it’s so scary. But thank God his neurologist has been able to control them. It’ll be a yr next month this yr, when prior he was having them every month.

suzyblueyes @paperstarz that’s wonderful I have been seizure free for 5 years now so it works just takes a lot out of you ya know. I’m so happy he is doing well and I posted our family just now well our dogs and everyone thought yours was mine even my daughter. We lost baby Dwight a month ago and he was an amazing loving and wonderful friend and dog 💕🥰😞😢

Thank you and our entire family has at least one from Pennsylvania to Florida and California my aunt lost all 3 of dogs in the same year and that was awful 😢 heartbreaking 💔 and now she has Georgia or Georgie but she is female I hope he continues to do well. I will definitely say prayers and puppy prayers. He is handsome, handsome boy squeeze his cheeks and give him love.
