blue_bee@j3n3s1s89 I'm honestly not to sure, I know it is a metal but I don't have its original packaging and there are no markings on it to state what kind of metal it is. But I have had it for many years and the chain and pendant have not tarnished or changed in color at all. Look exactly like it did when I got it years ago. Is there a metal you're allergic to?

blue_bee@j3n3s1s89 I have that problem too. When my fiance comes home I'll see what he thinks the metal might be, he might be able to identify it better then I can.

blue_bee@j3n3s1s89 hi hun! Ok so we are thinking the pendant might be coated copper because the smell reminds us of pennies and the reflection off the octopus eye area is a very light tint of orange. The chain we aren't to sure? It's magnetic and has so tarnishing at all so I would think it's something like steal.

blue_bee@j3n3s1s89 I would have expected nickel to tarnishing by now and it's hasn't. Please note I'm not a 100% sure about any of this and I can't guarantee that any part of its not nickle. I understand if you don't want it anymore because of that :)
