OWENS-ILLINOIS GLASS Glass Martini Shaker with Black Bakelite Lid 1930s VINTAGE

BEAUTIFUL Vintage 1930's Owens-Illinois Glass Company cocktail shaker designed by Edwin Fuerst. It features clear glass, a black Bakelite lid and the "skyscraper" design on the sides that continues to the lid. It is marked on the bottom of the shaker and the bottom glass shaker see photos for details of patent number. Lid has original seal- has deteriorated from time. Measures approximately 12.5" tall with top, and approximately 3.5" in diameter (at top). This is an exquisite cocktail shaker that would look amazing on any mid-century bar. Shake things up at your next party with this elegant piece of barware! The shaker is in excellent condition for the age, with small bubbles and inclusions from manufacturing. It shows some very light signs of use but is clean overall with one small nick in glass rib.
