I've found some very attractive options, but I'm not leaving my PFFS behind. I'm looking into whether it's a viable option. cyndlyn @carlotta808 I think that is a very good idea. I'm having to cut back on the number of groups that I'm actively participating in daily. Those are now a few times a week. It's not doing enough. I think I'm going to set my social media up with my Poshmark account. That way I can use hashtags for different things and attract new people. Plus, if things continue to go downhill. I'm looking into a couple of other options. The main reason that I'm here are the loyal buyers and my fellow Poshers.

I think we are to select the best items in someone’s closet to share that could enhance our closet so that when someone searches for a particular item our closet share may pull-up and hence our closet if someone is willing to do the extra clicking,,,it’s still a bit hazy to me ..but we now know closet are no longer going into the main but in our closet shares

ameryjs I agree that sharing only 5 or 6 items would be more beneficial. I think creating closet flyers to direct buyers to click on your "shares" could help a bit- I really don't think Buyers (and maybe even a lot of sellers) are even aware they can do this.

ameryjs @lulusfringe My personalized "For you" feed actually Shows me MOSTLY 'Handcrafted', 'Hand made', 'Artisan' about 80% of what I'm shown is those categories- because it's a huge portion of what I share everyday, and they are also "Brands" I follow. So I wouldn't worry too much in regards to that.

cyndlyn @nspearson I'm thinking about making a move to a large social media app. That's made staying in contact with family and friends possible. I can open a business page or start a group over there. Just a thought. I've got friends who are doing that now. They can communicate as much as needed and the fees aren't an issue.

nspearson @ameryjs I am unaware of closet flyers that can be clicked on to direct buyers. Can you elaborate to a dummy on what this is and how to do it? Or if there’s a link to an article explaining it, I’d greatly appreciate that.

ameryjs @nspearson I'm simply referring to the (Not for sale) informational listings people post in there closets. For example Usually about Sales or etc. But after the Email Posh sent out yesterday it looks like our Shares number won't even be shown anymore on our closet profile. So 🤷‍♀️

nspearson @ameryjs I am aware of the change they are planning to make on Nov 3. About a week ago, they made it on my closet. And then every closet I viewed only showed the “new info.” I was unable to find ANY followers lists in my closet or in that of others. That menu had either disappeared or was very well hidden. I complained and the next day my closet header was back to showing shares, followers and following. I was chagrined when they announced this particular change.

ameryjs @nspearson The reason for my suggestion was because I don't think Posh users who are just buyers (and a lot of sellers as well) are aware that they can see what people have shared by clicking on the # of shares shown at the top of everyone's closet. So I thought creating a 'flyer listing' that explains to people (directing) how they can do that might be helpful.

Shares are supposedly always going to remain important but it seems the only way Buyers will see shares is in a special category of their feed labeled "Recommended for you" That's where shares from people everyone follows will be "Curated" aka ..much more easily manipulated 🫤

cyndlyn Hello, everyone. If you look in my closet you'll see a poster about no selling on Thursday in response to Poshmark's new changes. I plan to participate in this as I feel Poshmark is not looking out for the interest of the sellers or buyers with these changes. They are pushing us to be less interactive and community based and to operate like all the other apps. I'm opposed to these changes. You are welcome to continue selling on Thursday, but my closet will be on vacation for Thursday.

cyndlyn @berlinshop18 Nope. I had a bunch of errands to run. My household doesn't run very well when I'm out of commission. 😅 I will be closed on Thursday in an attempt to show displeasure to Poshmark and the changes they're making. Otherwise we will roll on as usual.

cyndlyn @berlinshop18 My understanding is we are putting our closets on vacation mode for Thursday. It's completely up to everyone as to whether they want to participate. We are just trying to make Poshmark aware that we don't want to be like every other resale app. We love our community as it is.
