O.M. FRANKLIN SERUM CO. BRASS COW CATTLE TAG #29 VINTAGE VETERINARIAN

This is a great piece. The fact it's hallmarked by O.M. Franklin makes it unique and very collectible. O.M. Franklin he was a Veterinarian who came up with the vaccine for the cattle disease known as Blackleg around 1915/1916. Tag is solid brass Meas. 2 1/4”x 2 1/4 Stamed "O.M. Franklin Serum Co." #29 Exact age is unknown but based on the mark it's between 1937-1963. Preowned. Shows wear. Unpolished. Patina intact.
