The image shows an Estonian 10 krooni banknote. The kroon was the official currency of Estonia from 1928 to 1940 and again from 1992 until it was replaced by the euro in 2011.
The banknote features a portrait of Jakob Hurt (1839–1907), an Estonian folklorist, theologian, and linguist.
The reverse side of the note features the Tamme-Lauri oak tree.
The 10 krooni note is no longer in circulation, but can be exchanged indefinitely at the currency museum of Eesti Pank (Bank of Estonia) for €0.64.
