Not having been familiar with SuperDry before i bought this, i was unaware of their more fashion-forward fit. This is a very cool coat, not the fit is too trim for me and it's not as technical as i was hoping. I'd consider it more urban than outdoor. However, if you're looking for a great city rain jacket, this is it!

r2ed @alexahndra I'll say this, i had it in rain 2 times and it sheds it no problem. Now, would i rate this against my Patagonia jackets for rain? No. i consider this urban tech. i liked it for the look and weight for when i travel, but didn't want the bulk of my other coats. SuperDry touts their stuff as tech, but i think it's more ath-leisure. great wear and awesome style. not a fishing or hiking jacket.

r2ed @alexahndra if you want real waterproof, you need to be looking at jackets with seam taping. it's a pretty big cost to do that, but we'll worth it. many jackets claim waterproof, but really aren't. gore tex is an excellent choice as a treatment on a jacket, but make sure it's also seam taped.
