sargebill @maxwellestate oh look, I know my boundaries though, never make an Italian lady mad,I wouldn't have her any other way, it takes a lot to tick her off, now Angela her sister is walking C4 with a 5 second Fuze, lol.
Jun 26Reply
sargebill
sargebill @maxwellestate yeah, Samantha is 5ft 7,Angela is around 5ft 3, her husband Ricky is quiet around her, you can hear her before you see her, 1st time I met her family, eating then Angela blurts out" so when you two getting married ?" we could've crawled under the sink, her dad gave me the stare down but with a grin. Her mom took my side of course.

sargebill @maxwellestate they are, the men had the Godfather playing when I 1st met em to throw me off, Vincent asked me if I like horses, I said yeah as long as they have their heads attached and not in my bed, lol. I went to my suv, got a white felt hat and violin case, came back in, " now I gotta offer you just can't refuse " 2 bottles of red wine, they rolled laughing

sargebill @maxwellestate valentine's day, I popped the question this past valentine's day, it's starting to sink in now, Samantha goes around smiling and forgetting stuff, she's not a big talker but lately she just won't sit still, gee I wonder why, lol gets all giggly and a glass of wine, even my dogs grin at her, she sits in the floor with em, I never get belly rubs,

Angela is more excited than anyone else. they've planning something, the little conivers.

sargebill @maxwellestate conversation. sure will, I wanted a military wedding but it's her day and she'll get what she wants, that lady worked hard ,2 more yrs and she's retiring, then we can travel and live out our days together ❤. Ever seen the movie " my big fat Greek wedding ?" imagine that in an Italian theme.
Jun 26Reply
maxwellestate
maxwellestate @sargebill Oppa!! haha! So exciting. I agree with her though..I think it's such an emotional day for her that the Military thing might not 'feel' as magical.
Jun 26Reply
sargebill
sargebill @maxwellestate exactly cuz she saw enough in being with a support hospital although maroon and white are the army's medical corps colors. I want her to enjoy every second of it,she wants to take a cruise for the honeymoon, I'll keep my life jacket with me, lol that Norwegian cruise liner, hey I never asked when is your date ? I've been babbling on about us,
Jun 26Reply
maxwellestate
maxwellestate @sargebill Oh, I am totally enjoying hearing about y'all! We haven't made a date just yet due to covid, his health, my Mom in the nursing home, etc., When things slow down, we will decide.
Jun 26Reply
sargebill
sargebill @maxwellestate I sure hope everything goes perfect for yall, it's trying times, frustrating, oh look I can write a book, Sam has this thing of pulling my ear and blowing bubble gum in my face now, ok I get a wet q tip when she sleeps and attack her ears, talk about cut me some eyes. I gave her a huge hicky, Angela ran with it, lol I'm still wondering what Sam told me in Italian, I just come back with something in German or French
Jun 26Reply
maxwellestate
maxwellestate @sargebill LOL! Thank you so much. We are very "perfect' for each other & both patient about setting a date so, no big hurry.
Jun 26Reply
sargebill
sargebill @maxwellestate you're very welcome my friend. Excellent, couples today often miss the entire point of relationships, you gotta like someone before ya love em. I took a nap, working on restoring a gun cabinet that was given to me, I took a blow torch burned designs into the wood, hand sanded it, put dents in it, gave it an antique look, staining it light oak with dark oak accents, painted the drawers a satin white inside
Jun 26Reply
maxwellestate
maxwellestate @sargebill That sounds like fun & like it will be really nice. Please tag me if you post pics.
Jun 27Reply
sargebill
sargebill @maxwellestate I sure will, still not finished just yet ,I put it on roller wheels as I did the same to another one I bought, makes life easier to move around. my cedar trunk too, gonna do the washer, dryer, freezer and fridge on wheels too, no straining to move em, easier to clean. Oh and good morning too.
Jun 27Reply
maxwellestate
maxwellestate @sargebill Good morning. That's a great idea, the wheels! You may have created some jobs for my fiance', Eddie. LOL.
Jun 27Reply
sargebill
sargebill @maxwellestate 3/4 inch exterior plywood base, coat em with a water barrier stain, use drywall or stainless steel screws. for the appliances use the stainless screws, won't corrode. get the locking wheels, any hardware store has em. they're called castor wheels. why break your back trying to move heavy stuff when you can just use one hand. Eddie please don't hate me, lol
Jun 27Reply
maxwellestate
maxwellestate @sargebill haha. He's pretty handy. His specialty is cars. We have a car lot (lol). He's currently working on a 90's Jeep that he bought with only 78k miles. He bought a lift kit & had to get a refund because they lied about having it in stock on the website so, he found another. It is an awful purple color, so, that will get changed, etc.,
Jun 27Reply
sargebill
sargebill @maxwellestate Eddie and I have things in common, I'm restoring an original 1943 Willys MB gun jeep, had the M1919A4 light machine gun mounted. Got 2 gals of unissued original paint, all the canvas, tools, gun mount ammo tray, tires, tube wiring, engine overhaul complete assembly, keeping the battle damage on the front crossover tube. Found a 1944 Sherman tank too
Jun 27Reply
maxwellestate
maxwellestate @sargebill I remember that. Can't wait to see the end project.
Jun 27Reply
sargebill
sargebill @maxwellestate me too, lol it never ends in vehicle restorations, I restore antique firearms too, my best friend bought an early war M1 rifle that was painted gloss black, it took me a month but after I finished ,it looked ordnance fresh, another had one one beat up wood, I sanded, stripped, cussed, refinished the metal with my own parkerizing black gray. this one too looked factory new. I bake the metal for 2 hrs but stinks, ugh
Jun 27Reply
sargebill
sargebill @maxwellestate it's done and fully stocked, from pre WW1 to Vietnam the smaller gun cabinet is gonna hold my foreign weapons. Samantha cut her foot bad few nights ago, a porcelain figurine fell, cut a small vein then she steps on some slivers. 3 stitches, light pain meds and antibiotics, she took some sick leave,so she's here, go figure the same hospital she works for and was E.R. nurse at,
Jun 28Reply
maxwellestate
maxwellestate @sargebill Prayers for Samantha! Be sure to tag m on pic. Ii am working hard on trying to list while Eddie is working.

maxwellestate @sargebill you just put in @maxwellestate under the photo's & I will get a notification. Enjoy your dinner. I am a COOK! So, Eddie is very spoiled. My tax man had me make him a meal in lieu of pay this year...LOL
Jun 28Reply
sargebill
sargebill @maxwellestate excellent, I'll get to that in a few, I love cooking, for meat, I marinate it in worchesterschire sauce,Italian dressing and tenderize, beef for 12 hrs, chicken around 4 hrs along with pork. stews, soups gravies sauces, I do it all. the tax man haha, nothing like a full stomach and a smile, love it.
Jun 28Reply

maxwellestate @sargebill Well, he IS my cousin as well so, I send him food through out the year, as he is a widow too. He's really good with taxes so, I felt doubly honored.
Jun 28Reply
sargebill
sargebill @maxwellestate it never hurts to have connections, lol Samantha's family is mostly law and fmr law enforcement, ex military, etc.. and with her education she's a whiz at taxes. That woman can write, type talk and drink coffee all at once, me it's "wait til I'm done mac" ,

maxwellestate
maxwellestate @sargebill haha. Yeah, I am the Creative type. I will leave all the details to delegate to those who enjoy it..
Jun 28Reply
sargebill
sargebill @maxwellestate speaking of being creative, try making a meatball stew, simple, make the meatballs, cook em down, strain any grease, make brown gravy, add the meatballs into the gravy, parsley flakes, green onion chopped fine , mushrooms and rice.
Jun 28Reply
maxwellestate
maxwellestate @sargebill Or..with no yolk noodles. Eddie won't eat rice, dang it ! so, I can improvise. I make my own recipes. I never follow any. I taste it in a restaurant, I can make it.
Jun 28Reply
sargebill
sargebill @maxwellestate that's better yet, you can use your imagination on anything, my dad was from Louisiana, so he loved his rice, I like it too but loves my mashed potatoes, southern fried steak in a brown gravy too, it's messy to start with, egg wash, the flour then frying em down but once in that gravy, it's an open mess hall, lol
Jun 28Reply
maxwellestate
maxwellestate @sargebill I love Rice, so, I eat it when I can but, I would rather make him a 'never forget' meal, every time.

sargebill @maxwellestate at Ft. Lewis, Wa.,we had a mess sgt.from Hattiesburg, Ms.,that man could cook too,he had good cooks especially for breakfast. MSG. Henry Greene, all 350 lbs.,at least 6ft 5ins, like a huge oak tree but his mess hall stayed packed then we had one at Ft.Bragg, little SFC from Louisiana, he took pride in his mess hall and food too. Cooking is an art, you know that yourself. Samantha's not a big eater like me especially for breakfast.
Jun 29Reply
maxwellestate
maxwellestate @sargebill My Eddie, is a BIG TALL man & very Southern so, he's an eater of all Great things southern. Since most of my fam begs me to open a restaurant, it's a perfect fit.

sargebill
sargebill @maxwellestate you should do it,that would be great,I was born in Fla.,grew up in Tennessee, dad wanted me to either be a medic ,a drill sgt.,military policeman,or cook. Get this of all the MOS's, a cook/baker advances faster than infantry in rank.I was medical NCO cross trained in light weapons for 2 yrs.,went back to abn.inf. was drill Cadre at Ft.Bliss, TX. I can't stick someone with a needle and I can't stand em . Follow your dreams, Food is where the heart is.

Jul 01Reply
maxwellestate
maxwellestate @sargebill Good Morning Bill, Well, I don't use recipes but, the filling was actually Italian sweet sausage, bean sprouts, onions, fresh garlic, snow peas, (all veggies finely chopped), ginger, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, Thai chili sauce..all mixed & I cook it some before filling the wontons & then you fry them in a small amount of grease (I used chicken grease from the other day that I saved from the fried chicken)....
Jul 01Reply
maxwellestate
maxwellestate @sargebill then after browning one side, put some water in the pan & cover to steam. Dipping sauce = soy sauce & rice vinegar with a little sesame oil. Sounds like a Great neighbor to have! We're growing tomatoes. We are doing well, Eddie is Very sore as he was a pal bearer & the terrain was rough & the casket was Extremely heavy. Play some good music while you clean & you'll get through it just fine :-)
Jul 01Reply
sargebill
sargebill @maxwellestate that I'm gonna try, sounds really good and easy to make, thank you, been in the main war room cleaning, I threw away so much junk, busted rifle stocks beyond repair, rotted fatigues, boxes, and still finding crap. been at it since 430,next maisie and bella going amphibious later, baths. maxwellestate @sargebill You would've loved my Dads club. He was biz partners with Phil Crosby (Bings son). We had The Platters, The Drifters, etc., there all the time. The only original Platter at the time was Monroe. The gal that sang with them lived at our house for a while. I learned a lot about celebs & that's why I know, they're just human like us. I've never been star struck.
Jul 01Reply
sargebill
sargebill @maxwellestate I would've died, omg . I met Denise Crosby, down to earth, just as common, we talked for the longest. she told me if anyone got into trouble, as kids, they worked at Ronald reagens ranch, Nancy made the girls clean house, Ronald made the boys work outside. they were all brought up respecting others. if only today
Jul 01Reply
maxwellestate
maxwellestate @sargebill Phil was my 2nd Dad. He died not too long after my Daddy died. They were Hilarious! Yeah, I enjoyed wearing Felicia's sequin gowns when she'd lend them to me, to the shows. She was a Platter. She also taught me their sweeping dance steps.
Jul 01Reply
