I shared them with my boss, the founder's grandson, and he shared some information with me! The glove is a “Team Nokona” made in the early 2000’s. During this time period the company had experienced its 2nd factory fire and was left with very little. Due to the hard time and financial issues, the company had to get a partner to help fund them. They only stayed partners for about two years and was a very short lived time with these partners. During this time, sadly the partners decided to make a series oversea’ s called “Team Nokona” Very few gloves where produced in this series so they are very hard to find. We can typically repair any Nokona Gloves, but this series in particular is one that we cannot due to that fact is was made overseas and we do not have the tools to re-create them here at the Texas factory. The one you have is in great condition. They are very nice gloves and made to last like every Nokona, just many people where not a fan that they were made overseas. The Red Sox tag is something players could choose to add to the glove when purchasing. They made several tags with different MLB teams! You have a very one of a kind Nokona on your hands!"
