Nissan Engel (1931-2016) was an Israeli artist known for his mixed-media paintings and works on paper, including a series inspired by Beethoven's symphonies. This limited edition print depicting a superimposed white stamp style portrait bust of composer Beethoven over a vibrant red ground embellished with abstract lyrical style linework in pink. blue, breen and yellow. The print is pencil signed lower right and numbered 109/260 lower left.
