Nippon White & Pink Poppies Hand Painted Personal Teapot

Make an offer! Antique Imperial Nippon White & Pink Poppies Hand Painted Mini Teapot or Creamer. This Japanese small teapot or lidded creamer has a white backgrournd and has hand painted pink and white poppies on the lid and the front and back. Along with the flowers are some blue and green leaves, some peach and pink shading, as well as gold painted accents around the rim of both the lid and the teapot and the handle. There is a bit of raised detail dots in the gold or a moriage feel. Spout to handle measures a bit over 5" and height with lid is about 3.75". The bottom is marked Imperial Nippon Hand Painted in green. Great for the collector of Asian ware or tea pots. Great condition, with no chips or cracks, but there is some wear to the gold, particularly around the knob on the lid. Lid is a bit loose on the top as well. Feel free to ask any questions.
