pusheenballoon @meghanabendre great! i was hoping the size was similar…i tried them once but that pair was too narrow/tapered. are the box and wings on the softer side like freeds…?

meghanabendre @pusheenballoon yes!!! These are the star pointe so they are a little different and have an unbreakable shank. However, they have a few shoes that are all based off of the smart pointe last which run a little wider than some grishko/nikolays I used to wear a 5X in their other styles but this one is made for wider feet! I am currently wearing a streampointe and they are perfect. I think it’s a lot of trial and error but I would recommend you try

meghanabendre @pusheenballoon I liked the virtisse a lot actually!! I listed them because I was wearing freeds for a little and then found the current nikolays I am in. The virtisse are very soft which you might like but I found the box was dying too fast for me but they are comfortable and I enjoy dancing in them!

meghanabendre @pusheenballoon I get it! I think that I have found the best roll through in nikolay and virtisse compared to /behind freeds. Virtisse branched off from Grishkos so they are similar

meghanabendre @pusheenballoon Aw thank you for thinking of me!❤️ I keep switching but I have actually been wearing balance lisses most recently in a 1X (even though I thought my feet are pretty wide) and I like them a lot! They are pretty lightweight for jumps and easy roll through like freeds!

pusheenballoon @meghanabendre awesome! i am glad you found something that works well. it is fun hearing about the other brands! i am still in freeds, and recently found that 3/4 the outsole as well as the insole plus plenty of jet finally gives the support i was looking for. 🎉🎊
