Nike SB PS8 “Black/Clear”

The Nike SB PS8 Black Clear is a skateboarding sneaker featuring an upper with textured leather at the heel, tip, lace panel and Nike Swoosh, grounded by mesh underneath. The upper is done in monochrome Black, accented by a Clear mid- and outsole, which displays hints of blue and orange from within. Additional Nike branding appears on the tongue and rear heel. American athletic shoe brand Nike created its skateboarding offshoot Nike SB in 2002, which sought to better understand the landscape of skateboarders’ needs and culture. The PS8’s name originates from Problem Solver 8, an alias of Sandy Bodecker, who was on the original launch team of Nike SB in 2002 and passed away in 2018. The PS8's hefty midsole and leather offer rugged durability for street skating. In our opinion, the best feature of the PS8 is its Clear sole, which looks fresh and adds crucial functionality.
