Metcons are great for working out especially lifting. The bottoms are flat which aid in stability. These do have some flexibility in the sole as well. I have had them for about 2 months so they are like new condition. There is a little bit of dirt in the upper portion of the shoe but if you throw them in the washer they clean up really well! Never place them in the dryer
