This iteration of the Nike Air Max 1 comes with an upper made of fabric and leather. White fabric makes up the top portion of the shoe, including the toe box, midsoles, and under the laces. There are white fabric overlays that also add visual interest. The Nike swoosh also appears in white on each side. The heel is also sectioned off in white and bears a black Nike Air logo. The entire bottom half of the shoe is black. A thick black mudguard can be seen running around the entire bottom of the shoe, with a wavy pattern near the arch of the foot. The rubber sole and outsole are also black, and clear transparent Air Max units are seen under the heel.
