I find ukulele is a lot easier to play and doesn't hurt my fingers as much! Haha And yes I grew up around music and I'm a music teacher now! It's a lot of fun. Thanks for stopping by! 🎉🎉

@katzkoz good eye! It's a small park right near Central Park. 😊 And thanks about the pictures! The one where I'm playing ukulele is at my sister's wedding 💘. I started playing after my parents found a small painted ukulele in a dresser they bought at an auction! But I've been into music for forever. I'm a music teacher! I have a whole wall of ukuleles and teach them to 3rd graders and the staff. 🎉 I teach k-3 General music and 7/8 chorus. I love my job! Thanks for checking out my closet!! 😻

@ester771 Did you receive an email saying you got discounted shipping? Sometimes the shipping deals only last for a limited time. If the deal was on an item you liked and were notified about, it only lasts for an hour and can only be applied toward that one item. So if you try to buy more than one item with the discounted shipping item, the shipping won't work anymore, if that makes sense. And you said the $10 credit worked? Hope that helps! 😊

@krishalli when someone wants to buy an item they just click buy now, but more often someone will offer you less than you have it listed for and you can accept, decline, or counter their offer. I would price higher to account for people offering less and poshmark takes 20% commission. You can also set a bundle discount if you want people to save, say 15% off 2 or more items like I have. My can set that up under 'my bundle discount'.

@krishalli When someone buys they pay the shipping and poshmark will email you a shipping label. Use your own box to package it up or use usps priority mail boxes (make sure they don't say flat rate). You can get these at the post office or order them online through usps for free.

Lighting? How are you getting such consistently bright photos? Are you using special lights or an app that you would recommend? I have tried to stick with pure daylight to show the colors as close as possible but it is so inconsistent....and takes forever. If there was one thing you wished you would have known as a newbie what would it be? Thanks, you are awesome!

@valhobbs good questions! For lighting I have an umbrella lighting set I got off Amazon for like $50 that has been great for flat lay photos and so that I can take photos anytime of day. Some of my newer photos like the ones with a mannequin and the ones of some shoes and necklaces on the smaller necklace bust are done with natural lighting, which does seem to look more natural. There is one room in my place that has good lighting and I use that room! Haha

Well I like to use the word "you" in the descriptions because it makes it more personal for the person reading. 😊 I also used the back of wrapping paper for the white background and have since moved on to a wooden backdrop paper.
