New, never used sonicare electric toothbrush with charging base. Received this for Christmas, but I already have an electric toothbrush, so I don't need this. Never used with plastic still covering the brush (see third photo). These retail for up to $30, but it's less than half that here. Smoke-free home.

mstadium @hikimberly20648 hi. I am sorry you had to open a case because of this problem. First, you could have corresponded with me instead of opening a case so we could have resolved it on our own. Just because it's new and never used does not mean that it is not defective. I bought a 'new' watch on this website and it did not work despite it being 'new.' I did not know that what you said happened would happen. I never used it, so I did not know. If you want to return it for a refund, feel free.

mstadium @hikimberly20648 hi. No need to apologize because, funny thing is, you might be right. I just don't want my stellar reputation here damaged. That's all. Besides, you already have opened the case, so let's let whatever Poshmark does work itself out, and that might be the most efficient way to get your refund. OK by you?

mstadium @hikimberly20648 hi Kimberly . Poshmark sent me a message that said they approved your refund. Not a problem because of what I told you earlier. The odd thing is that they said 'after careful review' they approved the refund. I asked them how they could approve a refund when they had no idea what the problem is. I told them I had not used this since I bought it a year ago and that it was defective. But I don't get how they 'review' something when they don't know what the problem is. Weird.

mstadium @hikimberly20648 hi. You're going to find this interesting. I received the package back just today. I was curious about something, so I plugged it in for a few hours and turned it on. It works just fine. I still have not 'used it,' per sejust turned it on to make sure it charges OK, and it works fine. What happened when you turned it on? Did you charge it for a few hours first?

hikimberly20648 @mstadium as explained in the case I submitted, I charged the toothbrush fully overnight and the battery only lasted 1 day before dying, which was 2 uses. A brand new and never used electric toothbrush doesn’t die that quickly. You can try to resell to but please disclose that the battery only lasts about 1 day. Thank you again!!

mstadium @hikimberly20648 hi. I know what you explained, which is why I turned it on again today (Saturday, March 22) and it still works fine. There is nothing wrong with this toothbrush. -- even after two uses. I will try to resell it, but the wording will not change -- no disclaimer -- because, again, nothing wrong with it. I don't know what happened when you charged it and it did not work, but it does now just fine.
