New in box MGA's Mini Verse Ice Cream Social Set. Fun and creative ice cream-themed playset. Important note: I am removing this set from sale. I had a reason to Google some information on this set and in doing so I also noticed there was a recall. I called the consumer product safety office to verify, and this set was recalled in 2024 and should not be used due to problems with the resin. I apologize for any inconvenience.

grammalibbyof10 @aliciaregan87 I couldn’t see that anything was missing. These were brand new in the shipping boxes and I open the shipping boxes and opened the boxes to take the pictures. It did not look like either one of them had ever been opened before and it looked to me like everything was there.

grammalibbyof10 @aliciaregan87 update… When I googled to double check that the sauce was the resin, which is what I thought, I noticed that there was a recall on this item, so I checked the consumer site and sure enough these were recalled in 2024 and should have been destroyed, but somehow got back into the system. I am going to mark these, not for sale and the product the consumer product safety office gave me the phone number of the seller of these products and asked me to call them and make them aware also.

grammalibbyof10 @aliciaregan87 yes, it was because of the resin. 26 people were either burned by the Russian, or had an exacerbation of asthma symptoms. The Satz could be used with your own resin and I am going to try to see if there’s a possibility of getting replacement resin because they did reformulate it.

aliciaregan87 @grammalibbyof10 ahhh gotcha, okay makes sense. I wonder if this was before they started putting in the instructions that you should be using gloves. Cause I know the first couple my daughter got never said anything about gloves but they all do now.

grammalibbyof10 @aliciaregan87 very likely I know it was early to mid 2024 when they were recalled. I got a call yesterday from the Consumer Product Safety Commission and even though they are on shut down they have limited work hours and the gal I talked to told me she is going to be starting a major investigation because this is a big problem right now that the retailers are selling recalled items to the aftermarket sellers.
