This item is unbranded but it is imported from Japan - bottom says “Hand painted oriental Collection from Japan.” Distributed and sold by Best Ever, B & E Sales Co. Inc.; Detroit (MI), a company that closed in 1988! This item pre-dates that closure! It looks late 70s to me based on color palette and box design.
